Tecarteraphy
Tecar therapy is a physiotherapy treatment that helps repair damage to superficial and deep musculoskeletal structures.
Also known as diathermy, deep hyperthermia or high-intensity radiofrequency, its purpose is to energize cells damaged by inflammation and revitalize cells in agony, to streamline the recovery of acute and chronic injuries, in superficial sites (muscles) and deep sites (fascia, joints, ligaments, tendons, and bones).
What can it be used for?
Its main indications are osteotendinous and muscular injuries (tendonitis, bursitis, dislocations, tears, fractures), as well as chronic problems such as osteoarthritis. It can also be used successfully in carpal tunnel syndrome, nerve injuries, slow healing, heel spurs and plantar fasciitis and deep venous insufficiency. The number of sessions varies depending on whether the pathology is acute or chronic.

With this therapy, injuries are recovered in more than 50% of the time normally required, and it prevents the after-effects caused by not being able to use a joint or body region properly.
